We are currently seeking an energetic and friendly person to join our team as full time accounts receivable payable clerk (Part-time or graduating students are welcome). The successful applicant will be responsible for the following:
Accounts receivable:
- Responsible for collection and follow up of our trade accounts receivable.
- Responsible for follow up on delinquent accounts.
- Data entry related to recording payments and statement preparation.
Accounts Payable
- Responsible for timely data entry of all accounts payable invoices each month.
- Responsible for ensuring payables cheques are issued in a timely and efficient manner.
- Follow up with vendors related to payment, invoices, etc.
Cash Receipts
- Data entry of daily bank deposit and cash receipt balancing.
Purchasing
- Responsible for purchasing and maintenance of office supply inventory.
Accounting and General Office duties
- Responsible for filing monthly accounting schedules.
- Reconciliations of accounts receivable and payable schedules.
- Assist other members of the accounting team.
Ideal candidate will have 6-11 months experience. Excel and accounting software experience preferred. This is a good opportunity for cross-training and accounting skill development. Part-time or graduating students are welcome.
