Murray Chevrolet is proud to sponsor the 2011 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge being held in Winnipeg this week. The tournament features some of the most talented under-17 players from around the world, and hockey's future stars. So keep an eye out for the Murray vehicles that are being used to transport players and staff around to the various venues.

The World Under-17 tournament has been around since 1986, with a Canadian team taking gold 12 out of the 18 years it has been running. In fact only once has a Canadian team not made it into the gold metal game; the 1988 gold metal game between Soviet Union and Sweden. This year it features teams from: Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, Finland, USA, and five teams from Canada. With games being helt at the MTS Ice Plex, PCU Centre, and the MTS Centre.
