Murray Chrysler Okotoks is seeking a certified technician to join our Service team. The successful candidate will be experienced and familiar with working in a busy setting. Must have a class 5 drivers licence and a clean drivers abstract.

- Keep and supplies own tools and equipment available for use while inspecting, testing, and repairing vehicles, including completing preventative maintenance such as; engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotation and changes, wheel balancing, and changing of filters.
- Maintains vehicle's functional condition by listening to operator complaints, conducting inspections, repairing engine failures, repairing mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions, replacing parts and components.
- Verifies vehicle's requirements in service by performing test drives, adjusting controls, and systems.
- Complies with provincial vehicle requirements for inspecting and filing AMVIC, 85 point and where applicable, out of province inspections.
- Maintains vehicle records by recording services performed, mileage, and recommended repairs or services on repair orders.
- Keeps shop equipment operating by following instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventative maintenance, calling for repairs, and informing supervisor of any damaged or malfunctioning equipment or tools.
- Contains costs by using warranty, evaluating service and parts options.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications.
- Participates in manufacturer required training to achieve and maintain skill levels required to perform warranty repairs.
